I'm headed to NYC today to do some recording of electroacoustic seed files for Roger, working with the Jack quartet and video guru Ross Karre. This is all part of preliminary work for the sound design elements of Roger's new string quartet, video, and electronic sound work, FLiGHT. I'll be algorithmically processing the sounds I record this week in the months to come.
